Spa Positions:

  • Nail Tech (requires Maine State License)
    Part time position for talented Maine licensed Nail Therapist to join our growing spa team. If you have the talent to do exceptional manis, pedis and shellac services, we would love to discuss our opening with you!

    No booth rental expenses here, we pay hourly plus service & retail commission. Work in a beautiful setting with a talented professional spa staff and enjoy benefits such as spa membership with fitness classes, Cloud 9 Restaurant discounts & Lafayette Hotel travel discounts to 30 Maine & New Hampshire properties.

  • Massage Therapist (requires Maine State License)
    We are a busy spa that due to business demands, needs to add a Maine Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing spa team at the Senator Inn & Spa. If you have the talent to do exceptional Aromatherapy, Coconut Stone, Apricot, Maternity, Hot Stone & Couples massages we would love to discuss our opening with you!

Event Floor Coordinator/Banquet Captain
Looking for an experienced server with the ability to lead, multitask and provide excellent customer service for meetings and events. Must be detail orientated & have the ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Mature and pleasant personality that is responsible and organized. Needs the ability to make decisions as needed from the greeting of our guests to the review, and set up of meeting rooms for incoming clients, and oversee events as a liaison between the kitchen/chef and wait staff for meal service and timing of events.

This lead server position will work side by side with banquet staff in serving, setting and cleaning down events. Schedule is based on Client needs, weekends and holidays are a must.      Pay starts at $14.00 an hour based on experience. Part-time

Hotel Front Desk/Maintenance
This is a two part position that will offer part time hours to start with the possibility of full time depending on need.
Part one is as an organized desk clerk to answer telephones, greet and assist guests with reservations and recommendations and other hotel desk duties as needed.

Part two will be as a dependable light maintenance assistant for basic maintenance duties with snow plowing experience.
Must be reliable, able to responsibly work independently, and have at least one year of prior employment in guest service and basic maintenance experience. Must also have a pleasant and mature personality and open to learning new skills above the basic requirements. Hourly rate will be considered on the applicants prior work experience that will match the needs of this position.

Hotel Front Desk Clerk
Our Hotel Front Desk currently has an opening for a cheerful desk clerk that enjoys guest service. Basic duties: greet guest, assist with requests, directions or recommendations, book hotel reservations, answer & direct switchboard calls, etc. Each day will bring variety assisting new and repeat guests with great service.

Basic skills needed: pleasant and calm demeanor, organized, detail oriented, ability to assist in most any situation if a guest is anxious, and comfortable with sales techniques such as upselling to name a few.
